Dr. Christopher Hoeckel has been a senior manager at KPMG since 2013. Prior to his work as a consultant he worked in industry, for example in product development and purchasing. The emphasis in his professional activities at KPMG is on cost reduction and programmes for improving efficiency in purchasing, and process and organisational development throughout the supply chain. Dr. Hoeckel is one of the experts in Solution Supply Chain Risk Management at KPMG. He has several years of project experience in various different sectors, for example the automotive industry, the furniture industry, the machine construction industry, energy providers, communal transport services, healthcare and life science.
Dr. Michael Proch has been a manager at KPMG since 2016. Prior to that, he worked as a research associate at the chair of production management and industrial operations administration of the University of Bayreuth and did his doctorate in operations research. His research interests are in the areas of supplier development and supply chain management. Dr. Proch has also gathered industrial and consulting experience with Siemens Pte Ltd. in Singapore and goetzpartners in Munich. The emphasis in his work at KPMG is on contract management and transformation in purchasing.
