Regu­la­to­ry Land­scape for Soft­ware, AI, and Cybersecurity

In coope­ra­ti­on with the German-Israeli Cham­ber of Indus­try and Com­mer­ce (AHK Isra­el), we are plea­sed to invi­te you to the second web­i­nar in the series, “Digi­tal Pro­ducts for the EU Mar­ket – Regu­la­to­ry Land­scape for Soft­ware, AI, and Cyber­se­cu­ri­ty.” This ses­si­on will pro­vi­de a prac­ti­cal over­view of the regu­la­to­ry requi­re­ments for pla­cing digi­tal pro­ducts and ser­vices on the Euro­pean mar­ket, with a spe­cial focus on cybersecurity.

This web­i­nar will focus on two major new directives

• NIS 2 Direc­ti­ve: Enhan­cing cyber­se­cu­ri­ty for com­pa­nies across key sec­tors, inclu­ding ener­gy, digi­tal infra­struc­tu­re, and manu­fac­tu­ring. It intro­du­ces rigo­rous requi­re­ments for cyber­se­cu­ri­ty risk manage­ment, per­so­nal lia­bi­li­ty for manage­ment bodies, and inci­dent response.
• Cyber Resi­li­ence Act (CRA): Estab­li­shing har­mo­ni­zed secu­ri­ty stan­dards for pro­ducts with digi­tal com­pon­ents across the EU. This appli­es to both con­su­mer and B2B pro­ducts and man­da­tes com­pli­ance with cyber­se­cu­ri­ty and vul­nerabi­li­ty manage­ment requi­re­ments. The CRA will be appli­ca­ble in all EU Mem­ber Sta­tes start­ing in 2027.
