Bit­kom acts in par­ti­cu­lar to pro­mo­te inno­va­ti­ve eco­no­mic poli­cy, moder­ni­sa­ti­on of the edu­ca­ti­on sys­tem and forward-looking net­work poli­ci­es. In 2018, Bit­kom is start­ing a pro­gram­me entit­led ‘digi­tal for all’. The focus on the one hand is on acce­le­ra­ting the expan­si­on of giga­bit netz­works and digi­tal infra­struc­tures for ener­gy and trans­port. On the other hand, it is on the digi­ta­li­sa­ti­on of the eco­no­my, socie­ty and admi­nis­tra­ti­on, edu­ca­ti­on and work, and data pro­tec­tion and security.
