Free checklist for companies
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) has become an integral part of working life in almost all organizations. From chatbots and AI assistants to automated analyses and generative AI for text, images and software development, the possibilities are vast. However, there are also numerous legal issues that must be considered before an AI application is introduced and used.
Our free checklist for the legal review of AI applications helps companies systematically identify and document the key legal requirements for using AI. It provides specialist departments, project managers, compliance officers, data protection officers, and IT and information security managers with practical guidance.
The checklist considers the requirements set out in the AI Act, data protection legislation, trade secret protection, intellectual property law, IT security, employment law and general compliance and governance requirements. It also covers organizational issues relating to the procurement, approval, implementation, and ongoing operation of AI applications.
The checklist helps identify potential risks early on, define responsibilities and plan the necessary measures to ensure that the use of AI complies with the law. It is intended to serve as a guide for an initial legal review of AI applications.
Further information on the legal requirements relating to AI can be found, amongst other places, in our Onepager on AI Regulation, our FAQ on the AI Act and our eight-point plan for compliance of AI systems with data protection law.
If you require support in ensuring the legally compliant use of AI, or if you have any questions on this matter, please feel free to get in touch at any time. We would be happy to explain our approach in detail during a face-to-face meeting.
