Law firm proves highest standards in information security
The business law firm reuschlaw has successfully certified its Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 27001:2022. This independent verification confirms that the firm meets the highest requirements for information security and implements them systematically.
The certification was carried out by Proks Certification GmbH, which conducted a comprehensive audit of reuschlaw’s ISMS. The audit covered all processes of the firm’s operations, in particular legal consulting and client services, at both office locations.
Stefan Hessel, Salary Partner and Head of Information Security Management at reuschlaw, explains: “Cybersecurity is an ongoing process that requires regular review and adaptation. With the ISO 27001 certification, we demonstrate that this process is firmly embedded at reuschlaw. Our ISMS ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information within our IT systems on a permanent basis.”
As part of the project, reuschlaw worked closely with Kertos GmbH and Bechtle AG. These two companies supported the firm in building, technically implementing, and integrating the ISMS into the existing system landscape. With the successful certification, the firm has reached an important milestone. However, reuschlaw does not regard the certification as the end, but as a starting point for continuous further development.. New regulatory and technological developments will be addressed at an early stage to continuously enhance the level of security.
With the ISO/IEC 27001 certification, reuschlaw underlines its claim to not only advise clients on compliance issues, but also to consistently implement the associated values in its own actions.
