Our “Busi­ness Brunch digi­tal: Auto­mo­ti­ve Hot Topics 2021” will deal with a few sel­ect topics which are rele­vant this year for all eco­no­mic ope­ra­tors in the auto­mo­ti­ve indus­try. The­se topics are dri­ven by deve­lo­p­ments in the indus­try, focu­sing on the deve­lo­p­ment of alter­na­ti­ve pro­pul­si­on sys­tems, the digi­tiza­ti­on of pro­duc­tion and the intro­duc­tion of sys­tems which con­nect vehic­les with each other and with their envi­ron­ment. At the same time, the­re have been a gro­wing num­ber of recalls and recour­se claims for defec­ti­ve parts. The­se deve­lo­p­ments do not make things easier for sup­pli­ers, so that careful plan­ning is all the more important in order to remain competitive.
