What does the new Euro­pean law on data pro­tec­tion mean for your company? 

On 25 May 2018, accor­ding to the inten­ti­on of the Euro­pean legis­la­tors, a new era of data pro­tec­tion will dawn. From that day on, the EU Gene­ral Data Pro­tec­tion Regu­la­ti­on will be direct­ly appli­ca­ble in all Mem­ber Sta­tes. For the first time, the hand­ling of per­so­nal data, both in B2C and B2B, both in the pro­ces­sing of cus­to­mer data and in the use of employee data, will be gover­ned by a uni­form Euro­pean law.
