Cyber-security is an MDR topic too

In order to give hackers no chan­ce when it comes to medi­cal devices, manu­fac­tu­r­ers must con­sider the sta­te of the art in IT tech­no­lo­gy at all times and inform the user about risks and measures. 

More than just panic-mongering or fic­tion: poten­ti­al cyber attacks on life-preserving medi­cal devices and the health­ca­re sys­tem. The fact is that the per­for­mance of medi­cal devices is beco­ming depen­dent on the error-free per­for­mance of firm­ware and soft­ware to a grea­ter and grea­ter extent.
