Digital Products for the EU Market – Navigating the EU AI Act across the Supply Chain
In cooperation with the German-Israeli Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Israel), we are pleased to invite you to the third webinar in our series “Digital Products for the EU Market – Regulatory Landscape for Software, AI and Cybersecurity”. This session will provide a practical overview of the regulatory requirements for placing digital products and services on the European market – with a special focus on the regulation of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The increasing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into digital products and services, as well as into global production and distribution processes, is reshaping not only technological innovation, but also the regulatory landscape. In response to the growing use of AI, the European legislator has adopted the first European regulatory framework for AI, the EU AI Act. The EU AI Act is a landmark step in regulating the development, deployment and use of AI in the European Union.
The new regulation establishes harmonized rules for the safe and transparent use of AI systems in the EU market. Using a risk-based approach, the EU AI Act sets different requirements for different types of AI systems. The new obligations apply not only to AI providers and product manufacturers, but also to deployers, importers and distributors. The supply chain is also in the spotlight.
For Israeli companies interested in offering their services and/or products in the European market, it is essential to understand the new EU regulatory framework. Whether you are an AI provider, an importer of digital components or a supplier, understanding the EU AI Act is essential to ensure compliance and business continuity.
Our presentation will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the EU AI Act, the new compliance requirements and best practices for practical implementation. We look forward to your participation and an international exchange.
