Auto­no­mous dri­ving – Respon­si­bi­li­ty 4.0

The published draft amend­ment of the Ger­man Road Traf­fic Act (StVG) has given the dis­cus­sion about auto­no­mous dri­ving in Ger­ma­ny new impe­tus: with the new amend­ment, auto­no­mous dri­ving will be per­mis­si­ble under cer­tain con­di­ti­ons. But the issue of respon­si­bi­li­ty will play a cen­tral role: after all, what hap­pens if the lear­ning robot per­forms move­ments which end­an­ger humans?
