Opportunities and challenges presented by the new UN regulations and the associated implementation requirements

The automotive industry is expecting a whole bundle of new requirements in the coming years in connection with the new UN cybersecurity regulations for vehicles. Accordingly, companies would be well-advised to examine the new requirements, which will be relevant for homologation as well, as soon as possible. With this in mind, we would like to take a closer look at the issue of automotive cybersecurity in a digital business brunch, in which we will explain the challenges and opportunities for the automotive industry in connection with the new regulations. We will also discuss how the new regulations will not only affect automotive manufacturers, within the context of homologation; rather, that automotive suppliers will also be required to implement and comply with the cybersecurity requirements.
